Cannot change the table design because another user had table open.
Cause:
Another user had the table open or was viewing data in a query, form, or report based on the table.
Solution:
When the other user closes the table or stops viewing data based on the table, change the table design again.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Tables' tab in the Database window.

3) Click 'Design'. (The table opens in the Design view.)
4) Make the desired changes.
5) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'.
